Financial specialists and trained volunteers will educate students about managing personal finances, using credit cards, and the various loan options that are available. Students will also participate in a semi-annual investment portfolio competition whereby students will compete by managing virtual portfolios (stocks, bonds, currencies, etc..), and prizes will be awarded to top performers. Students will be introduced to personal finance concepts and institutions, be made aware of critical financial decisions to be made upon entering college and understand the importance of financial knowledge and fiscal responsibility.
