t EduMaKate, we seek to provide guidance and mentorship on career paths that combine a college education (undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees) with professional experience. In the past few months EduMaKate has launched an informal mentorship program with the students from the HSAB, Curtis High School, Thurgood Marshall Academy, Bronx Leadership Academy and Benjamin Banneker […]
Our flagship program, which embodies our grassroots approach in promoting the importance of a college education, institutionalizes our partnerships with participating high schools by establishing chapter organizations. Each School Chapter represents a student club on campus, endorsed by the administration, with a faculty advisor and student leadership. This gives EduMaKate the opportunity to pursue a long-term partnership with the school by recruiting junior and senior students to take a lead role in college preparedness and early career planning.
College2Career is a signature program of EduMaKate, these events aim to introduce students to various professional workplaces Students will be granted an opportunity to spend a day in a professional setting such as a law firm, hospital, financial institution as well as many other unique environments. They will be interacting with the employees and executives in their respective fields and engage in a customized program to educate, motivate and inspire them to pursue various careers.
